Extracurricular Program & Clubs

The Alto after school and club programs allow students to explore and discover topics outside the academic curriculum.

Extracurricular

Alto’s extracurricular program offers students from preschool to high school the possibility to explore further subjects and activities beyond the academic curriculum. The program changes every semester and ranges from music & art classes and sport programs to cooking and coding classes. To read more about the current program and fees, please click here.

Clubs

The club program is part of the middle and high school curriculum at Alto. Clubs are lead by Alto teachers or volunteers and meet either after school or during lunch break. Alto clubs are included in the tuition and students are highly encouraged to attend.

Students have the opportunity to provide input to the club program and can start their own club in mentorship with a teacher.

Swiss Program

Alto offers a Swiss after school program for elementary school students which explores Swiss language and culture. Students study the different regions of Switzerland and learn about what makes this country special. From a lesson plan based on the Zurich curriculum, this program is generously supported by the Swiss government. Alto’s Swiss teacher, Claudia Gruber from Graubünden teaches, the classes in Swiss German and German.
