Alto high school students outperform highest-ranked school systems in the world.

In 2018 Alto high school freshmen (grade 9)  and sophomore (grade 10) tested above the highest-ranked school systems in the world and scored in the top 10% worldwide. In fact, Alto students taking the International Schools’ Assessment (ISA) from grade 3 to grade 10 consistently outperform comparable schools worldwide.

What is ISA?

The International Schools’ Assessment (ISA) is designed specifically for students in international schools and includes assessment in mathematical literacy, reading and writing. Results from the assessment are comparable to existing PISA scales so schools can compare their performances to other countries and school systems around the world. Alto students participate in the ISA each year.

What is PISA?

PISA is an internationally endorsed exam taken by more than half a million 15-year-old students across the globe (representing approximately 28 million students in 72 countries). It is administered by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).

The IB is a first-rate program and it prepares students well for a university like ours.
